The Rabbit and the Tortoise's Shell

One day, a greedy rabbit was eating hungrily in a green meadow on a hill. He felt too hungry and weak even to get himself more carrots. "I'll make that tortoise get me some carrots," he thought.

He put off the tortoise's shell and wouldn't give it back.
"Please give me back my shell," said the tortoise.
"Only if you get me some carrots," said the rabbit.

So the tortoise went to the storekeeper. "Please give some carrots to the rabbit," he said. "Then the rabbit will give me back my shell."

"Only if you get me some money," said the storekeeper.

So the tortoise went to the banker. "Please give some money to the storekeeper," he said. "Then the storekeeper will give some carrots to the rabbit and the rabbit will give me back my shell."

"Only if you get me a house," said the banker.

So the tortoise went to the developer. "Please give a house to the banker," he said. Then the banker will give some money to the storekeeper, the storekeeper will give some carrots to the rabbit and the rabbit will give me back my shell."

"Only if you get me some house buyers," said the developer.

Now the developer used the tortoise picture to attract house buyers. The house buyers give money to the developer, and the developer gives the house to banker, the banker gives some money to the storekeeper, then the storekeeper gave the rabbit some carrots, then the rabbit gave the tortoise back his shell. Tortoise clawed for joy all the way home.

As for the rabbit, he had his carrots at last, but he was still not content. "Now, how doesn't that green meadow grow carrots?" asked the rabbit as he looked down the meadow. So the rabbit went down the hill, tired and unhappy, because there was no longer any carrots for him!

M-o-t-h-e-r Poem

Mum, I enjoy playing with you.
On my bed, we laugh and play cards.
Talking with you makes me happy.
Hair combing is always what you enjoy doing for me.
Every day you check my homework.
Reading with me is what I enjoy the most!

Peter and Pinky

Peter and Pinky lived with their mother and stepfather in a little hut near a forest. Their stepfather was a hunter , and they were very poor. They were all very thin.

One day Peter and Pinky’s stepfather said, “We have no food left. There is no more food for us to eat.”"Then Peter and Pinky cannot live here,” said their stepfather. “We must leave them in the middle of the forest,”

"No,” said their mother. But their stepfather said, “We must.”

Peter and Pinky were listening on their bed. “I have a plan,” said Peter, and he went out to get some little rocks.

The next week they all went into the forest. Peter dropped little rocks on the path. “Wait here,” said their mother. “We are going to hunt some animals.”

Peter and Pinky waited the whole afternoon. Then they followed the rocks back home.

Their mother was glad to see Peter and Pinky, but their stepfather was very unhappy. “There is not enough food for us all,” he said. “We must take Peter and Pinky deeper into the forest.”

"No!” said their mother. “We can’t do that.” “We must,” said their stepfather. “This time they must not find their way home.”

Peter’s stepfather tied Peter and Pinky on the poles, so they couldn’t get out. Peter couldn’t collect rocks. The next day they all went deep into the forest. This time Peter dropped water on the path. “Wait here,” said their mother. “We are going to hunt for animals.”

Peter and Pinky waited all day long. Then they looked for the water on the path. But the water had dried out.Peter and Pinky went deeper into the forest. They walked for a long time. In the middle of the forest, they found a house made of chocolates and candies. In the house lived a wizard. The wizard planned to kill Peter and Pinky to worship his god.

The wizard locked Pinky in a hole and gave her lots of water."Soon he will be killed,” said the wizard. “Then I will burn her in my fire.”"Where is the fire?” said Peter.“Here,” said the wizard. And he opened the door of the fireplace. “I can’t see the fire,” said Peter.

The wizard opened the door of the fireplace a little wider. “I still can’t see it,” said Peter. The wizard opened the door as wide as he could. Peter pushed him into the fireplace and locked the door.

Peter let Pinky out of the hole.“Look at all these gold coins,” said Peter. “We can take them home and buy food with it.”
After a long walk Peter and Pinky found their way home.

Their mother was glad to see them. “Your stepfather has gone,” she said.So Peter and Pinky and their mother all lived happily ever after in their little hut near the forest.
